Staticworx Launches Eclipse Rubber
First flooring that inhibits static generation regardless of footwear
WATERTOWN, MA- Staticworx, North America's largest manufacturer of ESD (electrostatic discharge) flooring products, has launched Eclipse Rubber, the latest generation of EC Rubber, the industry's first rubber flooring with lifetime static control properties.
According to MIT Laboratories, Eclipse Rubber is the only static-resistant flooring product that successfully inhibits static generation regardless of footwear. It also received the Seal of Approval by ESD Journal as the only fault-tolerant flooring product.
Eclipse Rubber meets all domestic and international standards including NFPA 99 (healthcare), ANSI/ESD s20/20, ANSI/ESD s97.1 (system resistance), ANSI/ESD 97.2 (body voltage generation), DOD 4145.26-M (munitions handling), and NASA-grade, clean-room requirements.
In addition, it is designed for excellent slip resistance, can withstand heavy loads, and doesn't require conductive wax.
"Staticworx Eclipse Rubber is becoming a preferred choice in electronics manufacturing facilities and mission-critical environments, such as data centers, call centers, computer labs, R&D labs, hospitals, and other end-user environments, where there is zero tolerance for static" said Dave Long, President of Staticworx. "In Class-0 ESD environments, Eclipse Rubber, combined with controlled footwear, also eliminates the need for wrist straps for mobile personnel."
Other product features include:
- Indoor Air Quality Certified (free of halogens, PVC, lead, phthalates, and asbestos).
- May contribute toward LEED Indoor Environmental Quality Credits for Low-Emitting materials.
- Lifetime Conductivity Warranty.
- Available in tiles, sheets, or runners for a seamless application.
